In our world, we contract the disease from time to time from our pets or other humans. Lyme disease is among such illness that we contract when bitten by ticks. In Europe, the bacteria in transmitted quickly within twenty four hours. Remember that, the tick is small that you might not see it. In fact most people with the illness never realize they have it or even feel the tick bite them.

There some symptoms that are related to the first stage. They are inclusive of fever, chills, headache, general ill feeling, stiff neck, and joint pain and muscle pain. There is a rash that grows in the bitten are. It is usually a raised red spot that has a clear center. It grows in size as times goes. Moreover, the symptoms can spread to vital areas like the brain and heart.

In the second stage, you will experience symptoms of heart problems, numbness in the bitten area and face paralysis. The third stage normally comes with abnormal muscle movements, numbness, thinking problem muscle weakness, speech problems, and joint swelling.

If you notice these symptoms, you need to go to a doctor. A blood test will be carried out to check if you have the bacteria. In areas where the disease is common, a practitioner will diagnose the disease at the first stage without any lab tests. In case you have been bitten recently by a tick, you should have people mention you closely.

During the initial stage, you will be given antibiotics to treat the infection. If you avoid going to the doctor, you stand a chance of getting worse more so developing heart problems, joints pains, and nervous system issues. Nonetheless, the cure is available for the first stage diagnosis. The last stage is detrimental to humans and can cause face paralysis, vision problems, and memory disorders.

In conclusion, prevention is better than cure, so avoid direct contact with ticks. During warm months, stay clear of bushy places, and center trails. Also check yourself always after you have come from a walk or a hike with your pet.
